This is for the ColdFusion programmers who may read this.
Today I was reading though the RSS feeds that I subscribe to, one of them being ColdFusion bloggers, there was an interesting article on how to send notifications to Growl the problem was the domain in the RSS was wrong. In staid of pointing to http://labs.redbd.net it was pointing to http://naomisimson.com, I noticed that both sites are using Ray Camden’s BlogCFC; it seems that both sites have the same Application name set for CF. For those who don’t know this is where ColdFusion stores information for each unique application, theses being two different blogs they should have unique names to prevent cross posting. anyway Ray posted on his blog how to generate unique application names so you do not have remember to change it when you launch the site.
This is just a reminder to make sure to have unique applications.
